JACQUI BLUE

been on the scene since 1976, started out with a duo called Double Image,winning various local talent contests, went on to form a band called Loosends,in 1980 another band formed under the name the Xcited, and first recorded a demo under the careful expertise of Les Payne, by the spring of 1983 The band metamorphasized into the new name of Cherry Black Dawn untill 1990 then took time out to concentrate on personal life,in 1993 another band was formed called The Recoil but since 1990 the name Jacqui Blue was Registered to Me personally as the officail stage name.a further few recordings were done for the publicity side of a television appearance,which incidently fell through due to management problems, from 1994 to 1999 was a no where land period untill a chance meeting with some local musicians, yes, another band was formed,this time under my name of Jacqui Blue, a few Shows were performed untill the untimely parting of the drummer, but an old drummer was called in to complete a seven track cd under the same name, after a short period the band went their seperate ways, deciding to go alone after number of let downs on management side Jacqui has been hard at work on a new album.live shows are planned in 2015 with a complete new line up ,and is busy writing new material, Currently working in the studio writing a new album,has been hard going as it is themed and every song had to fit with the last, this is the first in twenty years as a solo project,produced and engineered by Les Payne who has been in the business for over fifty years as a singer song writer and studio producer engineer, also recorded with RCA and POLYDOR records plus a few others,, hopefully the album will be completed by the end of the year,it is a long task as i am playing all the instruments myself and singing,but so far the results are great and all thanks to Les Payne,so that is why i am quiet on Reverbnation at this time,,but please feel free to contact me at anytime and i will give you a reply.
